# Managing contacts for an application
Contacts relevant to the application are added here so they pull through to the appropriate documents via merge fields.
# To add a contact
Select the +Add Contact button and choose from the existing list of contacts or create a new contact by selecting the “New” tab. Once a contact has been created, they will appear on the list of existing contacts.
# To update a contact
Select the burger bar ( ) & Edit.
# To remove a contact
Select the burger bar ( ) and then Remove.
